Pense holds townhalls and back to Washington

Mike Pense was home today in Anderson In. at Reardon Auditorium on Anderson University Campus. The subject was Energy! He was on point to regenerate the recall of Congress for a up or down vote on a energy bill that includes drilling. It is his opinion along with many of the house Republicans that the bill would pass the house which is what the Speaker Pelosi does not want. Because she is "trying to save the planet."

The meeting was of 30-50 who were interested in the revolt in Washington as well as the staunch stand Pense took on the recall of the Congress to come back to work. He was asked about the possible mandate against speculators and their part in the rising cost of oil.Pense replied"Don't shoot the messengers" They are doing the same in soy beans and corn. Buying and selling the projected cost of products runs the free market. The problem is the same as any other rising price in open markets supply and demand. "Who do I blame for the rising cost of oil? China. India. They are using far more now than ever before,just look at the cloud over China. More cars,and more production. Supply and demand"

Mike Pense and the rest of the Congressmen and women are giving up their vacation time to give speeches in a darkened chamber ,to tourists and staffers ,so you and I may have a shot at a vote. Pretty slim chance but they are serious and think the American people should come first before paid vacations. The next time I read how the Republicans aren't dong anything about the cost of oil I'm just going to refer them to Pense's web-site.(the headlines) Geesh some ought to pick the slack alittle bit here ans get on the phone to their Democrat representatives and the Speaker and give the 911 on what 78% of Americans want . To Drill..shale..coal..conservation..nuclear...yeah.. yeah even wind and solar. As Pense says "all the above"

Obama and drilling

I thought I was hearing things when Obama said he'd reconsider drilling off the coast today. Who is he trying to fool with this shift to the right? Is he trying to save his polling numbers before they crash altogether? Or has he realized that all Americans even liberlas need oil? Is this a move to impress those who fell off his fan wagon? No I suggest it is because he knows the House and the Senate are going to pass a bill with some drilling and he can't be left out of this very popular vote for drilling. Face it ,he would look and sound even dumber than he already has on an energy policy if he doesn't endorse drilling.

Properly inflating our tires is enough to save as much as we would get from drilling so drilling will be twice as much,right? He does want it both ways on every single issue. Can you imagine how his foriegn policy would presented to the leaders of the world? He would be the biggest joke in the men's room at the United Nations.

Pandering or butt kissing as we know it here in the real world is his best quality. Besides Nancy held off the vote for his candidacy,now he's saved her fanny in return.So when the Congress does return from vacation(that we don't get) they have his OK to allow a vote. This is such BS and the left is going to spin this because McCain changed his mind on drilling. It's the same but for so very different reasons. Geesh I can't believe this turn around.

The issue of drilling and ect...was our message for this fall. Don't let him have it. Now is the time to let everyone on the net know that we have supported our Congressmen and Senators and the Drill here,drill now,pay less agenda before Obama saw the light.
